We are commanded to love all throughout the Word of God. Lev 19:18 “Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the LORD.” As the month of February draws near, let us look at the heart of God. His heart is full of love for His children. If we want to truly know Jesus Christ, we have to learn how to love. Do you love your neighbor? That does not mean just your next door neighbor, it means every person you come into contact with. It is easy to love someone that is kind and thoughtful to you. But what about those that use you and those that despise you, it’s not so easy then. As our walk with Him increases, our love for others will do the same. When we truly get to know the Lord Jesus, we will learn how to truly love others more.
