WHAT TO EXPECT

What to Expect

Valley has a friendly, family atmosphere with lots of smiling faces. We make a special effort to make every person who visits feel comfortable and welcome. In order to know who our guests are, we will ask you to raise your hand, complete a Visitor’s Card and meet our Pastor at the end of the service. None of this is mandatory. Above all, we want our guests to relax and find us to be loving, caring people who at some time in the past, were also first-timers! Come and see us. We’re expecting you!!

What are your services like?

We are an independent, fundamental Baptist church. Our services include exciting Godly music and excellent King James Bible Preaching! To get a better idea, listen to our church services online.

Do you have a Children's Program and Nursery?

Valley loves children! We have an abundance of children's programs running throughout the year designed just for them in which they can learn about God's love for them every week in a vibrant way. We offer nursery care for babies ranging from newborn to 3 years old. We also have children's classes during various service times for ages 4 to 10.

In addition, children are always welcome in the church services. As a matter of fact, we believe it is important for our kids to be with us during the service.

What do you have for teens?

We have an amazing Youth Ministry that's available for ages 13 and up. Teens at Valley Baptist will find lasting friendships, great activities, and learn Bible truths that will carry them through life. At VBC we love teens and look forward to having your teen as a part of our church.

How should I dress for services?

As a visitor, we are more concerned that you find a place where your life needs can be met through Jesus Christ. Yet, we do understand the desire to feel comfortable when visiting a new church. You'll find that our regular church members dress modestly and typically wear their "Sunday Best".

Will I be asked to give money?

At each service, our church family is given an opportunity to bless and support our church. As our guests, we want you to be blessed by the service and know that there is no obligation to give.

How long do your services last?

Sunday is The Lord’s Day and so we take time to hear the Word of God that helps us to live a Godly life. We don’t rush through our time with God and each other. We do our best to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit. Normally our services last for an hour to an hour and a half, and it really passes quite quickly.
