I'm Pastor David Hemphill. Welcome to the online ministry of Valley Baptist Church of Oswego, Illinois. We are an Independent, Fundamental, Bible Believing Baptist Church located in Kendall County—one of the fastest growing counties in America. We minister to the greater Aurora, Illinois area, including Oswego, Plainfield, Yorkville, Plano, Sandwich, Montgomery, and Naperville.

Our theme for this year is focused on the Great Commission. The last words of the Lord Jesus found in the book of Acts, gives a clear command to each and every one of His children to be a witness of His saving grace. As a church I want each of us to endeavor to be a better witness. We should not only be a witness in our community, but also when we are on vacation. We need to act like a child of God wherever we are, not just in church. So, let’s work on being a witness for the Lord Jesus Christ. Our 2010 mid-winter Revival with Dr. Tom Sexton was held on Monday, January 11th and 12th and my what a great time we had. Bro. Tommy preached his heart out and many good decisions were made. Pastor Andrew O'neal from First Baptist Church - Minooka provided the special music for each of the services and it was such a blessing as well.
