I'm Pastor David Hemphill. Welcome to the online ministry of Valley Baptist Church of Oswego, Illinois. We are an Independent, Fundamental, Bible Believing Baptist Church located in Kendall County—one of the fastest growing counties in America. We minister to the greater Aurora, Illinois area, including Oswego, Plainfield, Yorkville, Plano, Sandwich, Montgomery, and Naperville.

Complete In Christ - Our 2009 Theme - July

In order to live the Christian life to its fullest we must explore all areas of that life. This month we will be exploring the topic of Spirit and Soul and Body. God has uniquely made us in this triune fashion. We have a triune God and we are made in His image. These facets of our lives help us understand our Creator. When we consider our Maker, we must consider how He made His children. God did not make us first body, soul and spirit, He first made us spirit, soul and then body. In fact the Bible says . . . .

Revival With Tom Wallace - Just Completed

Our Summer Revival with Evangelist Tom Wallace from Murfreesboro, Tennessee just completed and my what a wonderful time it was. Dr. Wallace previously pastored 3 churches, started several Christian Schools and served in various capacities with the Sword Of The Lord and BIMI (Baptist International Missions Incorporated). Dr. Wallace now travels and preaches evangelistic meetings all over America and many foreign countries. Special music was provided on Monday and Tuesday nights by the Quartet - "Committed". Building For The Future Plans Announced

Our annual Building For The Future Banquet was held on Saturday, April 18th in the Fellowship Hall. The evening was highlighted by a delicious meal including choice of meats, salad, vegetables, bread and dessert. There was a presentation about several exciting building and remodeling projects that we want to complete during the upcoming year as a church. Attendees were challenged by Pastor Hemphill and Matthew Johnson to participate by giving money, your time and talent in seeing these projects to completion. It is our desire to keep . . . .
